New dwellings permitted on Wiltshire farmyard
Approval to demolish the utilitarian buildings and replace them with two new dwelling have been permitted at Wiltshire Planning committee.
This was an excellent and sensitively designed scheme in a conservation area and in the setting of a listed building but planning officers had recommended the proposal for refusal. There was plenty of public support which included the Parish Council and the local Wiltshire Councillor. At the planning committee RCC were amongst those speaking in support and we were delighted when councillors unanimously agreed to approve the application.
